Your tasks
- Develop power offtake concepts for Renewable Energy projects (PPAs, P2x, etc.)
- Identify & build a pipeline of PPA-partners
- Develop NPV savings models (with support from the project developer and financial manager)
- Negotiate PPA Heads of Terms
- Responsible for the preparation of PPA offers & lead PPA negotiations
- Monitor market developments, tenders, RFPs, etc.
- Support of strategic pipeline planning according to market requirements
- Development of marketing strategies to contact customers
Your profile
- Bachelor´s or master’s degree in business administration, Engineering or a related field
- Extensive experience in business development in the renewable energy sector
- Strong understanding of the renewable energy market, including wind and solar energy in South Africa
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
- Extremely high proactivity, open personality and passionate about the development of renewable energies
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Business fluent in English

Your tasks
Project finance- Establish and maintain a network of investors, partners and lenders
- Develop project finance concepts and models for the C&I market
- Feasibility-analysis of Renewable Energy projects throughout the life cycle of the project
- Support development of bankable financial models
- Manage external stakeholders (investors, lenders, shareholders) during the development process
- Prepare offers and present projects to investors, banks, offtakers and other relevant parties
- Responsible for the sales & procurement process including relevant contracts
- Compile relevant NPV savings models in cooperation with the BD/Offtake Manager
- Analyse power purchase agreements (PPA) and evaluate financial impact, risks and opportunities.
- Financial modelling to optimise PPA terms, pricing structures, and contract terms to improve project valuations
- Support the negotiation of bankable PPA and loan agreements
- General commercial tasks and management of service providers including accounting, legal, banking, etc.
- Provide guidance and financial advice to the company
Your profile
- Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., MBA, CA(SA)) preferred
- Must have sound knowledge and experience in project financing with a focus on renewable energies
- Proficiency in contracting PPAs and associated financial models
- Strong negotiating skills and persuasiveness
- Structured way of working and goal orientation
- Business fluent in English
