We place dialogue with local people at the centre of our activities. We tackle issues with our combined expertise and are your reliable partner. Our aim is to generate the greatest possible added value by planning and realising our renewable energy projects in the region. The needs of the local people and communities form the basis for this.

We involve local people in our planning at an early stage. We use various formats, in particular our well-known citizens' cafés, to engage with you, the owners, residents and other interested parties. It is important to us to take your comments and needs into account as much as possible in our planning. At the same time, we are committed to long-term partnerships and cooperation. This way, everyone can benefit from renewable energies.

Financial support for municipalities and citizens

For years, Energiequelle GmbH has been committed to providing needs-based financial participation for local people and communities. Together, we select the appropriate type of participation for your region from a variety of participation models.

Diverse participation models

By focusing on your municipal and civic needs, you can benefit optimally from our projects. Direct and indirect financial participation models include a corporate participation in the operating company, the complete independent operation of wind turbines, the funding of associations or a discounted electricity tariff for residents. Together we will find the optimal participation options for your region.

Municipal value creation through renewable energies

Municipalities have many opportunities to benefit from wind and solar projects. These include analysing and advising on heating concepts, charging infrastructure and LED lighting on site.

Active cooperation

When a municipality operates its own wind or solar energy plants, it maximises the local value added and promotes identification with renewable energies. In this context, it is crucial to work together with politicians, administrators, landowners and neighbours in a spirit of trust. Cooperating with regional industrial companies and local energy suppliers creates additional added value.

Financial participation in a community wind farm

Creating acceptance for wind energy projects is particularly important to us. Only when the local people benefit will everyone pull together. That is why we are happy to offer you the option of actively participating financially in a wind farm project. This is how we did it in Uthleben in 2021, for example.

Landowners

For landowners, public participation offers the opportunity to generate long-term income by leasing their land for wind energy projects.

Local residents

Residents have the opportunity to participate financially by investing in energy projects or benefiting directly through citizens' energy companies.

Municipalities and communities

Municipalities and local authorities benefit from long-term trade tax revenues and can promote local development projects. They can also reduce their carbon footprint and support climate targets by participating in energy projects.

Industry and business

Regional companies are given preference when it comes to realising energy projects in order to strengthen the local economy. This offers them the opportunity to receive contracts, create jobs and benefit from the wind energy projects in their region.

Our self-image without any service in return

The communities benefit directly from our projects. Energiequelle GmbH consistently implements the regulation in accordance with § 6 EEG (2023) for the payment of 0.2 ct/kWh, and is committed to making this voluntary payment at an early stage within the scope of the legal possibilities. All municipalities, districts, etc. within 2.500 metres of the wind farm benefit, in proportion to their area.
