The Energy Self-Sufficient Village of Feldheim
In the Feldheim district of the Brandenburg town of Treuenbrietzen, one of the most spectacular overall concepts for a decentralized renewable energy supply for companies, private households and municipalities has been implemented.
The success of this project is due to the good and cooperative partnership between the city of Treuenbrietzen, the residents of the district and the project developer Energiequelle GmbH.

Falkenthal Energy Park
The energy concept in the Brandenburg municipality of Löwenberger Land (Oberhavel district), which is based on the three pillars of sun, wind and biomass, is an excellent example of how well this can be aligned with the growing needs of companies and people in a region.

Project Green Lausitzring
In the fall of 2012, Energiequelle GmbH reached a new milestone: the company commissioned its first Enercon E 126 wind turbine at the Lausitzring race track in Brandenburg. At 7.5 megawatts, it is the most powerful wind turbine in the world to date and is capable of replacing four to six conventional turbines.
With a total height of 198 meters and a rotor diameter of 126 meters, it converts the wind in Lusatia into around 12 million kilowatt hours of electrical energy per year. This makes the new wind turbine, which was built together with the manufacturer Enercon, part of the “Formula 1” of wind turbine technology.

Klingenberg moor rewetting
As compensatory measures for the construction of the Klingenberg wind farm, a 12-hectare moor was restored in 2016, in addition to planting a new 300-metre-long row of trees and afforesting an area of 3,000 square metres with typical local forest. Built dams hold back the rainwater so that the moor area will be rewetted in the long term.
France

La Ferrière
In 2014, we commissioned eight plants in La Ferrière. The particular challenge here was that the new, environmentally-related ICPE procedures also had to be mastered for France. In addition to examining the impact on the environment, this procedure also provides for a comprehensive hearing of the population. The good cooperation with the approval authorities and the experience of our French subsidiary P&T were the cornerstones of this success story.

Baudignécourt
In Baudignécourt, we completed a wind farm with six Senvion (Repower) MM92 turbines. The hub height of the turbines is 100 meters, and the total output is 12.3 MW. The special feature of this project was its location in the forest. Installing the turbines between the trees required a sensitive construction site organization, especially during the crane work. In addition, it was necessary to involve the forestry authorities and local hunters in advance.
Finland

Lumivaara
The Lumivaara wind farm, located in the municipality of Hyrynsalmi in eastern Finland, was completed and commissioned at the end of 2023.
The project comprises twelve 5.7 MW N163 wind turbines from Nordex, with a total nominal output of 45.6 MW
These turbines are installed on approximately eight meter high concrete foundations, which enable the utilization of stronger winds at greater heights, maximizing electricity production.
Lumivaara is known for its windy conditions and is one of the highest-risk locations in Kainuu. To meet the challenges of the cold winters, the turbines are equipped with a blade heating system that prevents ice from forming on the rotor blades.
