  • 1994

    First four wind turbines installed in Feldheim

  • 1997

    Energiequelle GmbH founded

  • 2003

    Launch of the Putlitz substation, Germany's largest wind substation with 250 MVA

  • 2005

    Completion of Germany’s longest 110-kV underground cable route (36 km) to connect multiple wind farms in Dahme/Mark

  • 2010

    Market entry in France

    Acquisition of the French company ‘P&T’ as a wholly owned subsidiary, now known as Energiequelle SAS

  • 2010-2012

    Realisation of the ‘Green Lausitzring’

  • 2011

    Feldheim becomes Germany’s first fully energy-independent village, powered entirely by renewables 

    In the Feldheim district of the Brandenburg town of Treuenbrietzen, one of the most spectacular overall concepts for a decentralised, renewable energy supply for companies, private households and local authorities has been implemented. 

  • 2013

    Reached the 1,000 megawatts energy generation milestone

  • 2015

    Feldheim’s 10-megawatt battery storage plant is comissioned

    Germany's most powerful battery storage system at the time

  • 2016

    Market entry in Finland

    Foundation of the subsidiary Energiequelle OY

  • Oktober 2019

    Michael Raschemann takes over as sole managing director of Energiequelle GmbH

  • 2020

    Start of the Lausitz Hydrogen Power Plant project, exploring renewable and hydrogen-based energy systems for regional transformation

    We are supporting the transformation process in Lusatia.  The aim is to map the future energy supply based on renewable energy sources and hydrogen, including storage and reconversion to electricity.
